Hi everyone! A few weeks ago we teased having som Hi everyone! A few weeks ago we teased having some really fun upcoming events. We were really excited. Think resin pouring, cocktails, printmaking, etc. Unfortunately, as is the nature of making, most of our events were set to be hands on and in person. All the while we've watched the number of cases of COVID-19 in Wyoming continue to climb. So, as a result, we decided to wait on these events until we are all in a safer place. Even though we're taking a break from in person activities, we know there's still makers out there making so you can expect some highlights in the next few weeks. We're hopeful that we can find some virtual opportunities, but in the meantime, please take care of yourself and your community. 😷😷😷

This year, we will have a number of antelope that will have been sourced earlier that morning. That means a few things: 1) this year is going to be a lot messier. As we celebrated our one year anniversary we asked As we celebrated our one year anniversary we asked you guys which of our events was your favorite. By far the most common response was Buffalo Deconstructed! This year we’re revisiting this topic and expanding it! We want to keep it in the Wyoming theme so we’ll be deconstructing and preparing 6-7 Antelopes at the same time! We will also be covering more of the process than we did last time, so we’re expanding to cover skinning, deboning, butchering, and even cooking. Roughly we’ll be spending our time: 1hr skinning 1hr cleaning 1hr cutting, cooking, taxidermy 1hr taxidermy and cooking Local artist and taxidermist Steve Knox will host us again at his spacious studio, we’ll also be joined by Chef Juan Coronado and Chef Seth Stefanik. Because of the limited space, supply costs, and thoughtfulness towards social distancing this will be a limited ticketed event. We’ll be offering 20 hands-on spots, you’ll be able to participate or watch as you see fit. Because we’ll have multiple animals to break down this will be less of a presentation and more of a swarm learning / participation event.
